A Life Shaped by Resilience
James's journey began in Miami, Florida, where he witnessed firsthand the devastation of Hurricane Andrew as a teenager. Returning home to find his neighborhood in ruins, he learned hard lessons about leadership, composure, and rebuilding under pressure.
That experience became the foundation for his philosophy: technology should protect people — before, during, and after the storm.
